Our History
Managing Director Denise Price started Daneechi Swimwear in 1987.
Previously she was a designer and pattern cutter for one of Australia's biggest swimwear companies. After several years making bathers for friends and family Denise saw a need to provide swimwear for non-standard sizes.
In 1987, she took the gamble and started her own business in a tiny studio on the back streets of Subiaco.
From humble beginnings, Daneechi moved to larger premises on Rokeby Road in 1991. In 1994, other labels were introduced to complement her existing range of styles.
Daneechi is now well known throughout Australia, and has built a reputation for comfortably fitting all shapes and catering for sizes 8 to 32. Through clever designing, special fabrics and a variety of styles, Denise has found the secret to making women comfortable in their swimwear.
